Long Black Screen before Boot At some point in the past month or so my laptop has started taking a much longer time to boot. Specifically I get a black screen that lasts for anywhere from 10-15 seconds before the boot logo even shows up. I'm pretty sure the screen isn't actually even on while this is happening.

Even with the brightness turned down all the way the screen is not completely black. There may be something else wrong. Try resetting the phone by pressing and holding the Home and power buttons until the silver apple appears. Best of luck.
IPhone screen is black but I can still hear text messages calls etc. I was wiping down my phone and then when I tried to charge it a lightning connector warning showed up. I didn't think anything of it and continued charging which was dumb and careless of me. I tried force restarting it multiple times and it was still like that.
When i tried to load into the UEFI menu with Settings -> Update and Security - Recovery - Advanced Start-up - Restart Now and then proceeding to click on UEFI Firmware settings and then restart my computer starts to restart normally but then it never loads into the UEFI Menu it just stays on a black screen forever.
