One of the frustrating things about working with ChatGPT (including GPT4) is its overuse of certain terms. My brain has now been trained to spot ChatGPT content throughout the internet and it's annoying when I land on a website/blog I actually wanted to read but I can tell the author literally just used ChatGPT's output with no editing. Feels so low effort and I lose interest.

ChatGPT is better but most of them are pretty quick to start talking in the context of 1870 North Texas about European settlers vs Native Americans / indigenous peoples. Hint: the settlers were Americans and native Texans; they had been here longer than the Kiowa.

 

I have a few conversations with ChatGPT that have lasted several months. I can get pretty engrossed and there is a lot of history built up in these conversations. The problem is the page starts to get really slow and laggy when a conversation reaches that scale. I have all this time and effort invested into it but it takes like 20 seconds to load the page and 20 seconds to submit a prompt ...
