Edge opens to a page chosen by Edge not my chosen homepage. No amount of fiddling can make my chosen page (Mutts.com) appear. (Edit: See below) I have to click past their 'startup page' to get to it. That's only after I return the 'Show Home Button' to active. The buttons to set homepages are suddenly 'greyed out' in settings.

 

By default Microsoft Edge uses Bing as its default search engine but you can add a search engine (ex: Google) and change the default search engine you would prefer to search with in Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge can use any search engine that supports the OpenSearch standard.

Priscilla1207 each published news item should appear in the news web part on your home page providing you've clicked on the add link and selected news post. So there are a few things to check. Edit the web part and make sure you have selected the source of the news stories.
